To strengthen our team in Aachen, we are looking for an experienced Senior Director R&D (m/f/d) who will play a key role in advancing our development portfolio and driving medical innovation. Your Responsibilities: As a senior leader within our R&D organization, you will Design and manage development programs for medicinal products in anaesthesia and intensive care Act as an internal and external expert in these therapeutic areas Engage with scientific experts and key opinion leaders to discuss strategies and innovative concepts Evaluate, prioritize, and strategically develop new R&D projects Your profile University degree in Medicine or Life Sciences; MD or PhD preferred Proven experience in anaesthesia, intensive care, or related medical specialties Approx. 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry Scientific expertise with leadership and strategic thinking In-depth knowledge across all stages of drug development (non-clinical, clinical, and CMC/formulation) Demonstrated leadership experience, both in project teams and line management Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex scientific information effectively Basic knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance Self-organized, reliable, and solution-oriented working style Fluency in written and spoken English Why us?
