Description

Basic Function: The Senior Director Member Ambassador serves as a customer relationship executive to member hospitals. Promotes adoption, expansion and utilization of THA programs, products, services to Texas Hospital Association membership, through engagement with hospital administrators, physicians, nurses, IT and security professionals, and other healthcare providers in hospitals, offices, and clinical settings across Texas. The Regional Member Ambassador is responsible for THA Membership in West Texas, mostly rural hospitals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Knowledge equivalent to a master’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance if driving for THA related business.
Requires thorough understanding of the Texas hospital market.
Experience in health care marketing and/or sales preferred.
Experience in customer relations management and/or customer service; strong relationship building skills
Must have stable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to complete tasks.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to maintain a professional, mature demeanor and be proficient at working with diverse personalities across all levels of the organization.
Must demonstrate expert presentation skills, planning, analytical, communication, organization and people skills.
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to establish priorities, work independently and manage multiple projects with little supervision.
Management of development of product/services pipeline and established customer base.
Customer relationship management skills over the phone and face to face.
Must possess demonstrated proficiency and application knowledge of the latest version of Microsoft Office Professional Suite software.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with routine overnight stays.
We highly prefer a candidate who lives in West Texas and has good knowledge of West Texas geography.
Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

Prepare, recommend, and implement with approval, short and long-range plans and annual objectives for the management of established program participants and the growth of THA programs, products, services, and endorsed companies.
Establish awareness of THA programs, products, services. and commercial partners that THA endorses and promotes, at multiple levels within our member hospitals. This is accomplished by introducing vendor partner capabilities and explaining how the partner solution reflects and aligns with member needs and business objectives. Participate in regularly scheduled “pipeline” calls with PPS vendor partners to develop and maintain an active membership engagement plan.
Keep stakeholders informed of the status of the work through routine (weekly/monthly/quarterly) reports as required using the THA Association Management System (Personify.
Evaluate market reaction to the specified programs and service offerings. Recommend necessary adjustments to member relations strategies to meet current market conditions.
