Description
Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Director, Services and Solutions Marketing to lead company-wide and business unit positioning, messaging, and thought leadership — and translate that strategy into compelling, market-facing content. This leader will unify how we tell our story across the corporate brand and services portfolio, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation in the market. The role spans both strategy and execution: developing positioning frameworks, buyer personas, and differentiation strategies — and operationalizing them through a team of business unit writers responsible for services/solutions content and thought leadership. This leader will embed an AI-first approach to accelerate content creation, optimize messaging, and ensure relevance in a rapidly changing market. Key Responsibilities Own the company-wide positioning and messaging framework, ensuring clarity and consistency across corporate, solution, and services narratives. Lead and manage the business unit writing team, centralizing services and solutions content creation. Direct the development of solution briefs, white papers, website copy, and all non-ambassador thought leadership (e.g., attributed blog posts, bylines, POVs). Conduct internal interviews with executives, practice leaders, and subject matter experts to shape positioning, messaging, and thought leadership. Develop and maintain buyer personas and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) that inform messaging, campaigns, and sales enablement. Build and manage competitive analysis, market intelligence, and differentiation frameworks to strengthen company positioning. Create messaging guides, sales enablement decks, and toolkits for sales, alliances, and marketing teams to ensure consistent delivery in the market. Stand up a portfolio-level content function to produce cross-practice and cross-industry narratives (e.g., supply chain, finance, high-performance operations). Leverage AI-driven tools to accelerate content development, improve consistency, and scale storytelling. Ensure positioning and messaging are translated into multi-format content — including written assets, visual storytelling, and video scripts — to support campaigns, sales enablement, and market awareness. Partner with demand generation, sales, alliances, and corporate communications to ensure content supports go-to-market success. Track the effectiveness of positioning, messaging, and content in influencing awareness, engagement, and pipeline contribution. Qualifications 12–15 years of experience in strategic marketing, solutions marketing, product or services marketing within B2B technology, consulting, or enterprise services. Proven ability to develop positioning and messaging frameworks and translate them into compelling market-facing content. Strong experience creating a wide range of assets, including website copy, brochures, eBooks, solution briefs, sales collateral, and sales enablement decks. Demonstrated expertise in developing buyer personas, ICPs, and competitive/differentiation frameworks. Experience embedding AI-powered content and messaging tools into marketing workflows. Experience leading teams. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex services into compelling client value. Track record leading and developing writing or content teams, aligning them to corporate strategy and campaign priorities. Strong cross-functional collaboration with executives, sales, demand generation, and alliances.
