WHP/CBS21 is looking for a Senior Director Responsibilities: * Managing news production specifically managing directors/editors/floor crew * Establishing production goals and setting standards for 28+ hours of local news weekly * Review/Direct daily newscasts to ensure quality control, brand compliance, and subsequently provide feedback to all news staff * Recruiting, hiring for production staff effectively * Familiar with iNews computer system, AVID Newscutter system and new production technology to help achieve the best quality * Collaborate with other managers on news strategies and effectively reach said goals Requirements: * Must have solid directing skills to provide clear/confident call of news programming. * Will bring strong fiscal experience for both operational and capital expenditures * Must have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple hours of daily newscasts and must have a proven track record of success in building a winning news organization * Journalism degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in news management with noted leadership skills is required EEO AND INCLUSIVITY: Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
