Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a strategic and visionary Senior Director - Technical Services & Design for the Commercial Office Business Unit (BU) to spearhead our ambitious development projects. In this crucial role, you will oversee the technical services and design functions for our commercial office initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed with precision, creativity, and alignment with Qiddiya's overarching objectives. As a key leader within the organization, you will be expected to drive innovation in design and technical execution while fostering collaboration across departments to deliver high-quality spaces that enhance the Qiddiya experience. Your expertise in both technical services and commercial office design will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business unit. Key Responsibilities • Leadership in Technical Services & Design o Lead and inspire a high-performing team of technical and design professionals. o Provide strategic direction for all commercial office project designs, ensuring adherence to company vision and standards. o Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and design requirements. • Project Management and Execution o Oversee project lifecycles from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. o Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices in technical services and design. • Operational Excellence o Develop and implement operational processes that enhance efficiency and improve project outcomes. o Conduct performance evaluations and optimize resources to achieve project goals. • Design Innovation o Promote inventive and sustainable design solutions that align with Qiddiya’s brand and vision. o Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and technical services. • Financial Management o Prepare and manage budgets for the Commercial Office BU, monitoring expenses and initiating cost-control measures. o Analyze financial performance data to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation. • Stakeholder Engagement o Foster positive relationships and effective communication with internal teams, external partners, and clients. o Present strategies and project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred. • Minimum of 12 + years of relevant experience in technical services and design management, particularly within commercial real estate developments. • Proven success in managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects with a focus on commercial office spaces. • Strong understanding of building codes, design standards, and local regulations. • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts. • Proficient in relevant software and tools for design, project management, and financial analysis. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset. • Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic are a plus. • - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's Degree is preferred for advanced knowledge and strategic insight. • Minimum 10 years of experience specifically in managing technical services and design for commercial office projects. • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large teams and complex projects, with an emphasis on coordination and collaboration across disciplines. • In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, construction management, and relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost management related to commercial real estate projects. • Proven ability to innovate and drive design excellence while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively. • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in Arabic might be an advantage. • A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality results and enhancing the workplace experience.
