We are looking for a senior discovery counsel with great judgment and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage program initiatives and deliver results. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has significant experience with privilege issues, review and analytics issues, litigation and operational execution. This role requires a lawyer with highly efficient operational skills, risk management experience and the ability to strategically support legal programs from end to end. DESCRIPTION As a member of Apple's privilege team, you will personally be supporting and delivering on established privilege strategy, both from a legal risk perspective and a technical one. You'll be working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Apple. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment and an operational-focused approach. Travel is possible. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years of in-house, law firm or vendor discovery experience, including significant experience handling privilege issues arising from litigation and investigations. JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar. Strong technology interest and aptitude. Excellent operational, communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Meaningful in-house or equivalent experience and experience managing privilege as well as review and analytic issues arising out of litigation and regulatory investigations in a corporate setting Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, including managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams Sound business judgment and ability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, while exploring new areas of expertise as business needs change Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively in a positive and practical manner Interest in and ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and take ownership of projects while balancing time, quality, cost, and risk Ability to foster and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners in the pursuit of team goals; shares information and supports others Maintain high ethical standards both personally and professionally; shows integrity and fairness in dealings with others; is reliable and trustworthy Demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and ability to properly handle confidential and sensitive information
