Overview WHO are we looking for? We are seeking a full-time Senior Institutional Discretionary Associate to support our efforts to service and retain discretionary institutional client relationships. This position will be on our centralized Institutional Discretion Operations team and will be a subject matter expert on our discretionary (3(38)) clients and their procedures. The candidate will support and execute solutions to moderately complex problems with extensive contact with our Client Management Consultants (CMCs), financial advisors, internal business partners, and operational teams at various recordkeeper partners. The candidate must maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, be well-organized, service- oriented, and capable of performing under tight deadlines. Responsibilities Partner with other members of the consulting solutions group team to process and execute fund changes for our discretionary clients in a timely manner. Partake in operational efficiency with the 3(38) fund change process and create thoughtful improvements. Assists in retention of client relationships through onboarding support, correspondence, reports, recordkeeper paperwork, and collective investment trust agreements. Works with CMC’s, Financial Advisors, and internal business partners to determine best methods to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction in a courteous and professional manner while upholding our CAPTRUST culture. Services existing client relationships with the highest level of service and prompt follow-up with any stakeholders. Partner with other members of the onboarding team to continuously identify risks and opportunities as it pertains to the onboarding of institutional clients and work together and with management to address effectively. Build and strengthen relationships with external business partners such as recordkeepers and collective investment trust managers to facilitate efficient and accurate execution of any objectives for our shared clients. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Completion of a four-year college degree. Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a Client Service role in the investment advisory or financial services environment. Proficiency in navigating CRM systems and MS Office Suite. Superior communication and relationship building skills. Proven track record of attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy Desired Qualifications/Skills: Working knowledge of institutional entities. Excellent math skills and the ability to quickly grasp financial and investment concepts. Organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
