Job Description Job Description Senior Document Controller undertakes day-to-day project quality checking tasks and correspondence on large and mega projects. The Senior Document Controller should be able to work closely with the Project Leads and various other Discipline Leads. Works under limited supervision on routine tasks as pre-established procedures. Works with other team members and/or end-users to troubleshoot basic problems. Effectively contributes to team goals. The role involves various tasks which are listed below (but not limited to): Engage in Document Control kick-off meetings. Assisting the team in project wide document control planning Ensure document control process and platform is understood, and appropriate training is completed. Brief the team on requirements and engage them on possibly contentious requirements. Ensuring that spotting and correcting non-conformities are in place. Developing Master Document Registers based template to meet project requirements. Creating Project document control Guidelines if required Administer the Project Contact List Issuing regular reports to the Management & Project team, Issuing reports on late documents/documents not issued Tracking incoming and outgoing information and distribution Being point of contact on file naming and document control standards and main liaison The main point of contact for formally issuing deliverables. Drawings, documents, and models. Register, save, classify and distribute documentation. Required skills: Proficient keyboard skills and knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software Proficiency in EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) and DMCS (Document and Material Control System) - Aconex, Oracle, BIM 360, SharePoint. Knowledge in identifying and handling drawings and other technical documents. Management of Quality Assurance Program procedures.
