Passaic County Community College is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to serve as a Senior Navigator for the DREAM Scholar Program. This position provides advanced guidance and support to program participants while coordinating key program functions and mentoring junior staff in partnership with the Director of the Honors Learning Community. The Senior Navigator plays a critical role in student success and program coordination and serves as a resource expert for experiential learning opportunities. This position reports directly to the Assistant Dean of Career & Professional Readiness. This is a part-time, hourly position.  Example of Duties:  * Provide comprehensive navigation and advising support to Dream Scholar students, assisting with academic planning, program requirements, and goal setting. * Mentor and guide junior program staff, modeling best practices in student engagement and program coordination. * Participate in planning and execution of meetings, student workshops, activities, and experiential learning events. * Manage program calendars, filing systems, digital records, and ensure timely preparation of materials and reports. * Coordinate complex logistics for guest speakers, student showcases, community site visits, and special events. * Serve as an initial point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and community partners, addressing inquiries and resolving challenges. * Participate in the recruitment process for new cohorts. * Assist the Director in assessing program outcomes, gathering student feedback, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. * Support the development of program resources, training materials, and communication strategies. Qualifications:  * Associate degree required. * Minimum of one year of experience in student leadership programs, scholar or honor society programs preferred. * Demonstrated ability to mentor others and provide leadership in a collaborative environment. * Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in digital communication platforms, including email, database management systems, online collaboration tools, and social media. The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate. Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly rate for this position is $20.  Benefits:  * New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
