The responsibilities for this role include proposing and executing marketing plans that promote revenue growth, generation among key consumer segments, and to support the hotel’s brand positioning and image. This may include leveraging and executing marketing and e-Commerce strategies in partnership with appropriate corporate and destination team members as well as various hotel departments to achieve revenue growth goals. Executes and tracks performance for internal and external marketing campaigns, promotions, advertising, and websites. The position may also act as a liaison between the hotel and Accor marketing support, outside agencies, and contracted vendors/service providers (as determined by the Director of Sales and Marketing). Competencies Develop direct and semi-direct online channels to check and improve the internet presence of Fairmont Austin Make and implement approved recommendations for improvements to website strategy based on company-wide goals that support hotel marketing and e-Commerce revenue goals and initiatives, both short and long term Oversee day to day overall website management, making recommendations for improvements to responsive design, implementing enhancements, and achieving website revenue goals, website KPIs, and major e-Commerce initiative on pre-approved timelines and budgets Actively investigate known or suspected issues (bug reports, outages, etc.) and work with the appropriate team(s) to escalate and resolve in a timely manner Analyze and measure brand and vanity website functionality, identify areas of friction and obstacles for website visitors, working with cross-functional team and vendors to prioritize and resolve open and newly identified issues Oversee digital marketing advertising from contract to deliverables as assigned Develop and segment hotel’s internal email marketing subscribers and execute luxury mailing on routine basis with effort to continue to grow and improve lists Measure key performance metrics (abandonment, conversion, etc.) and identify important performance trends and areas of opportunity to grow the business in Austin Work closely with appropriate teams to identify and implement timely actions that improve website conversions and average booking values, and provide reports on the improvement plan, execution, and results Manage reporting, analysis, web content, and e-Commerce P&L Establish, maintain, and continually improve processes and workflows as they relate to website enhancements and tools Understand and map the consumer journey to optimize opportunities that help increase booking, engagement, and meet conversion and revenue goals Optimize the user experience on all devices, keeping up to date on the latest trends and UX data Optimize search results and navigation filters to ensure hotel/destination relevancy Collaborate with the marketing team (coop, email, social media), and revenue, distribution, and reservations team to best serve Fairmont Austin Work closely with digital, content, outside services providers, and IT to create tailored landing experiences as needed Manage vendor relationships with applicable technology and marketing partners and escalate and document opportunities and/or service problems with recommended solutions Measures and reports on KPIs of all digital marketing initiatives via Google Analytics Tracks and analyzes success of e-marketing campaigns Execute e-commerce campaigns to support the hotel strategic marketing plans working within the established budgets Optimize SEO/SEM for the property websites, online presence and social media channels What is in it for you: Paid time off Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401K Complimentary shift meal Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide Learning programs through our Academies and Educational Assistance for further development Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world! Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Sustainability Committee Qualifications Required Education and Experience 3+ Years Marketing and/or e-Commerce Experience Knowledge of marketing communication mediums to include but not limited to digital advertising, e-Commerce, email marketing and social media Excellent written and verbal communication skills including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure. College/University degree in related discipline required Ability to travel if necessary Knowledge of Hotel sales and catering software/systems an asset Google Analytics Certification is required Work Environment This job operates in luxury hotel environment. Physical Demands This position requires both sitting and walking for extended periods of time throughout the day.
