Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Senior E-Enabling and Electronic Flight Bag Engineering Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our dynamic team in Seattle, Washington.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The E-Enabling Customer Integration Specialist plays a critical role in helping our airline customers prepare to successfully receive and operate our onboard networking and connectivity equipment. This role serves as a trusted technical liaison between our company and customer airline teams, ensuring smooth integration, education, and operational readiness of systems such as the Aircraft Interface Device (AID), Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), and onboard networking platforms such as the Onboard Network System (ONS) and Core Network. This position combines technical acumen, customer-facing communication, and project coordination to support both pre- and post-delivery phases of our connectivity solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 9+ years of experience in aviation systems, airline IT, aircraft integration, or related technical support roles
  • Strong communication skills to support collaboration with customers, computing architects, other IT organizations, and suppliers.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites (up to 25%)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with avionics networks, AID/EFB ecosystems, or ground-based airline operations systems
  • Experience with airline entry-into-service processes or retrofit programs
  • Familiarity with ARINC standards, airline operational tools, or secure networking protocols
  • Strong presentation and technical communication skills
  • Prior experience with system validation or integration testing
  • Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment.

SUMMARY PAY RANGE:

  • Senior (Level 4): $128,350 - $173,650

Responsibilities
  • Customer Readiness & Education:

Conduct onboarding sessions and technical workshops to train airline customers on our e-enabling systems, including onboard networks, AID, EFB, and related tools.

  • Issue Resolution:

Provide front-line support for customer inquiries and technical issues related to e-enabling tools and infrastructure; coordinate with internal engineering and support teams as needed.

  • Entry Into Service (EIS) Readiness:

Perform on-site validations and assessments to ensure customer facilities, ground systems, and processes are fully prepared for aircraft entry into service.

  • Industry Engagement:

Represent the company at relevant industry conferences, airline fleet team meetings, and working groups to support adoption, alignment, and advocacy of e-enabling solutions.

  • Ground System Support:

Assist with updates, configuration, and integration of customer ground systems that interface with onboard systems.

  • Cross-functional Coordination:

Collaborate with engineering, certification, IT, and program teams to ensure customer-specific configurations and milestones are met.
