• ️ Your role

As an E&I Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our operations. You’ll be responsible for:

• Planning & Execution: Organize and carry out preventive, corrective, and project-based maintenance from start to finish.
• Scoping & Reporting: Investigate and define maintenance needs and document findings clearly.
• Complex Maintenance: Tackle critical and technically demanding tasks with precision.
• Safety & Permits: Apply for work permits and conduct task-specific risk analyses.
• Shutdown Support: Contribute to shutdown planning and execution.
• Contractor Coordination: Select and manage E&I contractors.
• Data & Inventory Management: Maintain technical data, link specifications, and monitor stock levels.
• Team Supervision: Guide and support technicians at levels 3, 4, and 5.
• Project Oversight: Manage contractors during shutdowns and small-scale projects.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure E&I-specific safety systems are in place and up to date.

Note: Some tasks may require working at heights or in hard-to-reach areas.

What you will bring

• Technical Expertise: Strong specialization in electrical (75% focus on this) and instrumentation maintenance.
• Education: MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in a relevant technical field.
• Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role.
• Language Skills: Dutch fluency is preferred, but not required.

• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with EHS procedures (e.g. suffocation, acid, hydrogen gases) is a plus.

  Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work occasional overtime.

• Available for breakdown service once every 6–7 weeks.
• Open to occasional travel to other Air Products sites across Europe.

• Willing to follow internal and external training (e.g. electrical switching authority, VCA full, NEN3140, flange fitting).
