Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Vision: Lead the Pre-School by establishing a clear vision and fostering a positive culture that aligns with our school’s values of Respect, Honesty, Perseverance, Fairness, Kindness, and Trust.
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of all children.
Planning and Assessment: Take charge of weekly planning, preparing and organising day-to-day activities and resources. Support the assessment of children’s learning and maintain accurate records to track progress.
Key Worker Role: Act as a key worker for a group of children, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their individual needs are met.
Collaboration: Work effectively with other staff members in both directed and free-flow activities, facilitating a rich learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
Operational Support: Assist the Manager in devising and implementing rotas and timetables, ensuring smooth daily operations.
