Overview of the role:
Successful candidates will be a competent and proven Senior EC&I engineer, capable of producing, checking and facilitating designs, drawings, supporting calculations and technical documents (inc. Plans) with minimum supervision. They will have the ability to translate a client’s requirements into a meaningful engineering and technical solution. Good communication skills and IT skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Engineering Quality of the project delivery, ensuring compliance with client specifications and engineering standards and local domain policy and procedures.
  • Assist in production of conceptual designs, optioneering studies, requirements capture, user requirements specification and use cases.
  • Experience in designing for functional safety systems is desirable.
  • Have experience of lifecycle and maturity management.
  • Quickly self-deliver pragmatic systems solutions from a brief problem statement.
  • Maintain compliance with Engineering Standards and applicable legislation.
  • Participate in Design and System Level Reviews. Ensure that subsequent design meets the project and client requirements.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of data and information received from clients is upheld.
  • Ensure effective project delivery to time and cost.
  • Support and mentor apprentices / graduates (where appropriate).
