Description
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or similar environmental discipline 10 years + of total experience in the environmental consulting industry. Associated experience with environmental agencies and departmental roles with commercial entities may be considered equivalent At least 4 years of experience managing environmental permitting projects, technical teams, schedules/budgets, and the delivery of high-quality work products Demonstrated experience leading teams and working in collaboration with biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, and other specialists in developing high quality documents for environmental projects Demonstrated experience coordinating with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies in the Western US related to power and energy projects. Experience working with the USFS, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, BLM, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and state agencies Master's degree in planning, Geography, Environmental Management environmental science, biology, ecology, or related field At least 4 years of experience leading project pursuits, including direct client communication and preparation of project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates Experience supporting and/or managing client development including identifying opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships Specific relevant technical expertise that has been demonstrated with planning and local permitting experience working in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and/or Nevada
