Capstone is seeking an experienced Editor to oversee the editing of our research reports, due diligence projects, and proposals, while helping to guide and grow our overall editorial and content strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in professional writing and copy-editing within financial services, energy, or healthcare for an investor client base, with a keen interest in public policy and finance. This role offers significant responsibility in a fast-paced but highly rewarding environment. Primary Responsibilities: Copyedit research reports for accuracy, style, and format. Ensure clarity, logical structure, and readability of text. Apply proofing and design changes to documents. Manage reports through the full editing and production cycle. Verify facts and raise queries with authors as needed. Identify potential compliance issues and consult with authors and senior management. Enrich and enhance Capstone’s written work. Develop, maintain, and implement company-wide style guides. Desired Skills and Competencies: Clear and effective written and verbal communication. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. Analytical mindset with an interest in policy and investing. Solid understanding of the company’s business, strategies, and procedures. Strong client service orientation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word Adept at collaborating across the organization to drive initiatives and achieve goals. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required.
