Job Responsibilities: The applicant will primarily be responsible for the following tasks: Act as the main contact for implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across specific Company Data Centres. Foster a culture of improvement across all projects to maintain a healthy, safe, and accident-free working environment. Supervise the appointed contractors and consultants to ensure compliance and excellence in EHS at the project level. Take accountability for EHS performance metrics and the implementation of annual improvement plans. Conduct periodic inspections, audits, and reviews of safe work practices to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies. Perform workplace risk and exposure assessments for various classes of hazards. Support incident investigations and root cause analyses to identify, communicate globally, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and implement comprehensive training sessions, workshops, and best practices; monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Hong Kong region. Monitor, interpret, and communicate summaries of standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and proactive management of risks. Analyse safety metrics and communicate the results to the Department Head to drive action and accountability. Collaborate with leaders, staff, and contractors at all levels to implement effective solutions. Align with the Corporate EHS Team to create a standardized and harmonized approach across the Data Centres to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Required Experience, Qualifications and Education Bachelor’s degree. Major in Occupational safety and health is preferrable A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management on projects of similar size and complexity. Experience in the data center operation or facility management. Registered Safety Officer. Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) / CSP is preferable Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation in Hong Kong. Familiarity with best international practices in occupational safety and health. Understanding of data center operation / high-risk activities and appropriate control measures. In-depth knowledge and recognized qualifications in safety management, including certifications such as ISO 14001 and 45001. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
