Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of the Company’s Environmental, Health & Safety Statement and associated policies
  • Conducting regular Site Environmental H&S inspections
  • Ensuring that records of statutory inspections and records are kept up to date for site activities, fleet, plant & equipment
  • Delivering and completing statutory notifications to the Health & Safety Authority for the project and all incident / accident reporting
  • Deliver Site Safety inductions and Tool Box Talks for employees or contractors on site, as required
  • Ensuring appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is available for employees
  • Assisting the EHS Management in compiling cost records and forecasts for all issues associated with Health & Safety including, but not limited to, contra charges, training, purchases, accidents etc…
  • Assisting in the preparation for annual external audits
  • Attending internal and external Environmental Health & Safety Meetings
  • Ensuring Sub-contractor Safety Statement’s and required RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) are available on site, up to date and assess / review same, as required
  • Assisting Site Management in drafting and communicating RAMS
  • Coordinate, compile and issue Health and Safety Plans
