Assist in the implementation of the Company’s Environmental, Health & Safety Statement and associated policies
Conducting regular Site Environmental H&S inspections
Ensuring that records of statutory inspections and records are kept up to date for site activities, fleet, plant & equipment
Delivering and completing statutory notifications to the Health & Safety Authority for the project and all incident / accident reporting
Deliver Site Safety inductions and Tool Box Talks for employees or contractors on site, as required
Ensuring appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is available for employees
Assisting the EHS Management in compiling cost records and forecasts for all issues associated with Health & Safety including, but not limited to, contra charges, training, purchases, accidents etc…
Assisting in the preparation for annual external audits
Attending internal and external Environmental Health & Safety Meetings
Ensuring Sub-contractor Safety Statement’s and required RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) are available on site, up to date and assess / review same, as required
Assisting Site Management in drafting and communicating RAMS
Coordinate, compile and issue Health and Safety Plans
