Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Controls and Automation Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for leading innovative automation projects while mentoring and teaching junior engineers.
Starting annual salary: $160,000 – $225,000

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years experience in controls engineering, automation, or electrical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Strong programming skills in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application in control systems.
• Familiarity with standards such as NEC, UL, NFPA, IEEE, CSA, and CE.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, particularly with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or Siemens products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively in a dynamic environment.
