JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

• Check and monitor the progress of shop drawings for approval submission;
• Ensures the understanding and compliance of drawings with standards and specifications;
• Ensures understanding of project scope and requirements that impact accuracy of shop drawings;
• Prepares shop drawings and necessary documentation submission to main contractors/architects, etc;
• Prepares and updates status of shop drawing submission for each project;
• Highlights and discusses any discrepancies on items/materials with relevant parties;
• Co-ordinates and liaise with various contractor/consultant on shop drawing;
• Prepares shop drawing and as-builts drawing and submission to consultants for approval;
• Attends site meetings, progress and design meetings to provide status updates and resolves design and other issues
• Any other duties as may be assigned.- At least 5 years of recent experience in autocad drawing work

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 3 years experience in Electrical Engineering works
• Experience in construction industry an advantage
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting
• Knowledge of REVIT/BIM an advantage
