Description Barton Associates is seeking a Senior Level Electrical Engineer based in our Raleigh Office Innovative Design: Lead the design and development of electrical systems for a diverse range of projects, including commercial, institutional, and residential. Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless and integrated project delivery. On-Site Expertise: Conduct comprehensive site inspections and provide expert technical support throughout the construction phases. Your seasoned insights will ensure projects are executed flawlessly. Technical Excellence: Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure the highest quality standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal electrical codes and standards. Your deep understanding of regulatory requirements will safeguard project compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in the MEP industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Professional Engineer (PE) certification required. Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Advanced knowledge of other industry-standard tools and technologies is a plus. Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to tackle challenging engineering problems. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a knack for leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
