About the Team: Our Sydney Building Services team is a well-established, collaborative group within WSP’s national Property and Buildings business. The team is delivering a strong pipeline of Tier 1 projects across sectors including Transport, Defence, Data Centres, Commercial and Health, offering plenty of variety and technical challenge. About the Role: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide expertise in electrical design for both single and multi-disciplinary projects. You’ll lead small to medium-sized design packages within larger, complex programmes, ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines. You will also build strong client relationships and play a key role in developing our Building Services team, contributing to broader strategic goals and the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities: * Provide electrical design leadership on both single and multi-disciplinary projects across a range of sectors * Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects to ensure effective and efficient delivery. * Maintain clear and consistent communication with external clients and authorities, as well as internal colleagues and managers, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes. * Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising on quality. * Build solid, long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business development opportunities and understanding their evolving needs. * Contribute to the development and growth of the business unit by supporting strategic goals and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall success.   Key Requirements: * Bachelor of Electrical Engineering; * 7 to 10+ years’ industry experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment; * Well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector * Strong client relationship management and project management skills; * Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC etc.);   What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package. * The opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects. * Career development and professional growth opportunities. * A dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive work environment. * Work from home arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance. * Flexible working hours and working from home; * Global mobility; * Parental leave and self-funded additional annual leave (up to 4 weeks); * Corporate employee discounts and offers; * Salary continuance insurance; * Wellness at work and social club;   Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
