Join Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division and help design the technologies that keep the world’s most critical systems running. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This position is based in Raleigh, NC and relocation assistance is available! The expected annual salary range for this role is $94000 - $138000 a year. Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division designs, manufactures, and services Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, surge protection devices (SPD), batteries, Power distribution, monitoring/metering equipment and three phase electronic-based products to ensure power reliability in the most demanding applications. Our employees deliver mission-critical solutions to our customers’ most challenging energy management requirements. What you’ll do: • Develop electrical aspects of power distribution & monitoring products, per approved engineering specifications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with overall manufacturing processes. • Develop and maintain documentation and schematics for electrical systems. • Plan and test for Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) certification of new and existing products. • Communicate and support engineering team, designers, and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. • Prepare cost reduction proposals for new and existing products based on cost trades, design improvements and Value-Added Value Engineering (VAVE) process. • Create and maintain accurate documentation of design concepts, tool drawings and shop orders in coordination with the Quality Assurance and Manufacturing functions. • Partner with manufacturing team early in the design process to ensure solutions are optimized for manufacturability, efficiency, and scalability. • Execute project activities with cross functional teams. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution with minimum three (3) years’ work experience in Electrical Product Engineering. • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
