Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Align the mechanical department’s objectives with overall business and organizational goals.
  • Develop and advise on long-term mechanical maintenance plans, including CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, monitoring, and scheduling of maintenance and project work.
  • Plan and implement mechanical system and equipment modifications, upgrades, and installations to enhance reliability and availability.
  • Manage procurement of spare parts and services to support maintenance requirements, including vendor contracts and administrative oversight.
  • Lead and oversee a team of engineers, technical officers, and technicians to handle plant issues and downtime, ensuring timely resolution and restoration.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve plant performance and drive business results through optimized maintenance, equipment reliability, debottlenecking, and efficient work practices.
  • Manage and guide team members in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of plant issues
  • All other ad hoc duties as assigned
