Senior Electrical Engineer - FM services Based @ The Ellinikon Project We are seeking highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Property, Facility and Experience Management unit. Our new colleague will be reporting to the FM Director. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of the performance, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of electrical systems across a portfolio of assets. Reporting to the FM Director, this role ensures the safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of electrical infrastructure, contributing directly to resident satisfaction and asset integrity. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing complex electrical systems in live residential environments. In detail, the Senior Electrical Engineer of FM, amongst others, will have the following responsibilities to: Lead technical oversight, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Electrical systems Manage the delivery of the electrical component of the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program by subcontractors. Conduct diagnostic reviews, fault findings, and technical problem resolution on complex electrical issues. Minimize downtime and disruptions through proactive interventions and safe system-of-work practices. Ensure all electrical systems meet the latest standards, including BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), NICEIC certification, and statutory inspection regimes. Lead the completion and review of periodic inspection reports (EICRs), PAT testing logs, and compliance documentation. Maintain full records of electrical certification, works permits, and operational logs. Oversee external contractors and suppliers delivering electrical works and maintenance. Review and approve technical documentation, RAMS, and commissioning plans. Supervise project works (upgrades, refurbishments) to ensure safety, functionality, and alignment with design intent. Contribute to capital asset planning by advising on condition, lifecycle, and replacement strategies. Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements and smart building technologies. Collaborate with peers on M&E integration, BMS controls, and sustainable system upgrades. You will be a successful candidate for our job opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria: Academic Qualifications Degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Professional Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a senior electrical engineering role, ideally within premium residential, commercial, or hospitality environments. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and building control interfaces. Strong understanding of UK compliance requirements, including BS 7671, NICEIC, IET regulations, and HSE guidelines. Experience using CAFM systems, BMS platforms, and digital compliance management tools. Excellent technical report writing, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. NICEIC-qualified supervisor or equivalent preferred. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working toward chartership (e.g., IET) is desirable.
