Description

The Material Metrology Division at Nova is looking for a highly technical and motivated Sr. Electrical Engineer to support our growth in the semiconductor material metrology segment in Fremont, CA. You will have the opportunity to develop electronics, firmware, and controllers for metrology systems, where your embedded system design skills can be fully utilized. You will participate in a team of electrical and firmware engineers and work directly with scientists to deliver innovative solutions from research pathfinding to product realization.
Pay Range: $120,000- $165,000 Annually (DOE)

Responsibilities
  • Design the electrical architecture for next-generation semiconductor metrology platforms, with an emphasis on high-voltage power systems and associated cabling, encompassing mixed-signal and digital circuit design. Responsibilities also include embedded systems, microcontrollers, etc.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of PCBA development, including specification, architecture, design, simulation, schematic creation, layout, prototyping, validation, and manufacturing. Ensure comprehensive documentation of design requirements, power budgets, and validation plans.
  • Collaborate closely with senior technical leads, scientists, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, ensuring on-time launches that align with project timelines and objectives
