Our team is growing and looking to add an experienced electrical engineer team member to our Health & Science Team with a minimum of 15 years of design experience, ideally with experience in healthcare design. Essential Job Responsibilities Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code Technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power tools, and electrical modeling software Power design of medium and low voltage, including panel schedules, layout, circuiting, and controls Perform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordinator studies Design of electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systems Design of lighting systems Develop electrical specifications and construction cost estimates Conduct periodic job site observations and quality control tasks Communication with project leads, clients, and contractors Skills Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam, REVIT, SKM Power tools/ETAP/Easy Power, and AGI32 software Work collaboratively with other disciplines and coordinate with production staff Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university Minimum 15 years of experience in the MEP industry, ideally healthcare experience (or similar projects) Professional Engineer Licensure is preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States Quality of Leadership Promotes positive attitude and image Possesses excellent motivational skills Shows fairness and consistency; is decisive Shows good judgement and reasoning ability Takes initiative to set goals and works purposefully to achieve them Exhibits effective interpersonal skills (speaking, writing, and listening) A recent Top WorkPlaces Winner, RMH promotes work life balance, presenting flexible work options that allow employees to make a bigger impact at work, at home and in the community.
