Description Position Summary Shrewsberry and Associates is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for vertical infrastructure projects in the Federal and state & local government markets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Designing Low and medium voltage power systems Lighting systems and associated controls Fire alarm and mass notification systems Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems Developing probable construction costs Providing construction administration and site visits Mentoring less experienced staff Some travel will be required Requirements Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university At least 10 years of relevant electrical experience Salary range based on 10-14 years of experience. More experienced individuals are welcome to apply; salary commensurate with experience. PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems Preparing construction document drawings using Revit Designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred) Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred) Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems Mentoring less experienced engineers and designers Ideal candidate has performed federal vertical infrastructure work for DOD or FHWA. This is a full-time position with a base salary that ranges between $125,000 - $145,000 per year.
