As a part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in overseeing the electrical design, implementation, and quality assurance of our data centre project based in Dublin.

Reporting to: Electrical Lead
Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

  • Manage, review, and coordinate electrical design and construction drawings; resolve technical issues and drive solutions.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to subcontractors and site teams on all aspects of electrical engineering.
  • Lead and prioritise tasks for the technical team, ensuring timely and efficient execution of works.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure full compliance with project plans, schedules, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues using established troubleshooting and root-cause analysis techniques.
  • Oversee document control processes, ensuring all logs, records, and technical documentation are maintained and updated.
  • Prepare and coordinate test packs and handover documentation for electrical systems in line with commissioning and client requirements.
  • Promote and enforce high standards of compliance and governance, including:


    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve safety risks.

    • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance safety and performance.
    • Ensure all subcontractors maintain excellent site housekeeping and organisation.

    SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Bachelor’s degree in engineering
    • 5+ years experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
    • Strong understanding of HSE requirements on large-scale projects
    • Data Centre experience is advantageous
    • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skill
    • Competency in MS Office and document control software
