Summary of Position: As a Senior Electrical Engineering Designer, supporting our Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical engineering projects under the guidance of Electrical Engineers/Project Managers.  Projects will be located throughout the U.S. and will include power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems.  As part of a multi-disciplined firm, you will be coordinating with Site/Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects and Construction Project Managers.  You will be responsible for the production of electrical engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, code requirements and site adjustments.     Who you are: You demonstrate strong communication and enjoy fostering strong relationships. Responsibilities: * Design full site plans and resolve complex design issues with limited direction. * Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations.  Generate reports and recommendations based on findings. * Coordinate with sub-consultants. * Assist in maintaining task budgets. * Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders. * Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project. * Assist managers with the project approval process. * Organize and maintain project files. * Maintain documentation for billable hours. * Demonstrate an understanding of basis of design. * Demonstrate an understanding of codes. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred * E.I.T. preferred, P.E. a plus * 3+ years of experience with electrical design for buildings, preferably with commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, industrial, multi-family, etc.  * AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office Team: You will work with a team of Design Engineers, Professional Engineers, and Project Managers. Work Location: This role is based out of either our Bellevue, Puyallup, or Kent, WA offices. Expectation is to be in the office at least one day per week at either location.
