Position Overview Live Systems LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to lead our estimating department. This is a priority role that will play a key part in driving company growth through accurate estimating, customer engagement, and business development. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, customer-facing, and capable of leading estimating efforts from initial opportunity through final proposal. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the electrical estimating department, including estimating processes, pricing strategies, and workload prioritization Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates, bids, and proposals from plans, specifications, and field walkthroughs Visit customer sites to review scope, assess conditions, and build strong client relationships Actively pursue new work by networking with customers, contractors, and industry partners Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoff Develop and maintain cost databases, labor units, and vendor pricing Identify value engineering opportunities to improve competitiveness and profitability Mentor and train junior estimators or support staff as the department grows Stay current with market conditions, material pricing, labor trends, and electrical codes Required Qualifications 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or industrial construction Proven experience leading or managing estimating efforts or departments Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, labor productivity, and construction methods Proficiency with electrical estimating and takeoff software (Accubid, McCormick, PlanSwift, or similar) Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites and meetings Valid driver’s license Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range of $75,000 – $100,000, based on experience and qualifications Opportunity for growth into expanded leadership and strategic roles Autonomy in a customer-facing, high-impact position Supportive team environment focused on quality, accountability, and growth Why Join Live Systems LLC?
