JOB OVERVIEW:
AdvanSix is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer, at the Frankford Plant, in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. In this role, the E/I Engineer will be responsible for initial scoping, planning, and design tasks to support AdvanSix capital projects. The individual will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with cross functional teams consisting of multidiscipline engineers/designers, process engineers, operations, maintenance, and project management to meet the requirements of the capital project and business needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrument engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn/develop.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam, CAD software, either AutoCAD, Micro Station, or both.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- 5-10 years of experience.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Industrial experience in a chemical, industrial, paper or manufacturing facility with exposure to construction practices.
- Hands-on experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment in industrial facility
The expected base pay for this position is $95,000 - $142,600
