Carrier Marine and Offshore Systems provides advanced air conditioning products and systems for everything from cruise ships to offshore platforms and oil tankers. We are seeking a customer-focused Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Marine team and help drive technical excellence and project success. Key Responsibilities Apply expertise in air conditioning, refrigeration design, heat transfer, fan systems, and electronic control systems. Supervise project performance and ensure timely delivery. Manage project costs effectively, identifying opportunities for savings to maximize profitability. Troubleshoot project challenges and recommend practical solutions. Communicate directly with external customers, providing technical support and guidance. Support marine dealers and customers across Carrier’s product portfolio. Collaborate with internal teams and Carrier factories to resolve technical and scheduling issues. Present findings and corrective actions clearly to customers. Work with Carrier factories and external suppliers to ensure designs meet customer requirements. Manage subcontractors and oversee compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in all phases of projects—from design through installation and commissioning—ensuring technical compliance. Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, hydraulic and electronic control systems. Marine industry experience is highly desirable. Proven experience leading project teams or managing multiple small to mid-sized projects. Familiarity with commercial or industrial HVAC components, systems, and controls. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues effectively. Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independently under minimal supervision. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and prioritization abilities. Strong follow-up and follow-through skills to meet deadlines and customer expectations. Exceptional communication and technical writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with SAP, Salesforce, AutoCAD/Eplan is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 30%. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience.
