About the role As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing electrical projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality and safety. What you'll do Lead and manage electrical projects of varying sizes and complexity. Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and addressing concerns proactively. Allocate and manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials. Oversee subcontractors and ensure they adhere to project requirements and safety standards. Identify and resolve resource constraints or conflicts. Develop and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to maximize project profitability. Promote a strong safety culture and enforce safety protocols on all project sites. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain a focus on quality assurance, monitoring workmanship and materials. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement risk management plans to minimize disruptions and delays. Generate and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project records. Provide regular project updates to company leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, demonstrating successful project completions in electrical construction. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and construction practices. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and facilitate effective collaboration. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus. 7+ years of PM experience Projects of $10M plus Strong proficiency in software and tools (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, Plangrid) and Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements Maneuver on uneven ground and climb ladders Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35lbs Must be able to work on feet for prolonged periods of time while using tools and perform repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping Winning Behaviors and Competencies Real-time Communication is key to success: We will communicate real-time to our team members and clients.
