Position Summary The position of Sr. Electrical SCADA Engineer (TR) is primarily responsible for supervising the User Systems Engineering team and will be one of the site's electrical leaders responsible for monitoring and coordination of Samsung power distribution monitoring systems and engineering support staff. Role and Responsibilities Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For: Supervising and monitoring of the power distribution system through eFMCS/SCADA and its capacity/utilization trends. Lead alarm management and rationalization of alarms to communicate throughout the department. Develop critical signal trending & monitoring processes to proactively identify adverse conditions. Ensuring power monitoring system uptime and performance meet Samsung and department standards. Managing the proper operation and incident response/recovery. Lead development of detailed step plans incorporating risk analysis for all device operations. Skills and Qualifications Here’s What You’ll Bring to Samsung: Bachelor's or Master's degree in related Engineering field, Electrical or Electronics Engineering highly preferred. 3 + years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution. 5+ years of relevant experience with SCADA, PLC's, and Network Systems. Knowledgeable in MV Switchgear and it's Protections. Some engineering supervision and leadership experience. Experience in leading commissioning, testing, of HV/MV/LV electrical distribution equipment. (Including creation of commissioning procedures etc.). #LI-NF1 The current base salary range for this role is between $94,260 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
