Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience working with small electronic assemblies or circuit board manufacturing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with soldering, including fine-pitch components (SMT and through-hole)
  • IPC soldering certification (e.g., J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Electrical Technician to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of small electronic devices and components. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electronics who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
As an Electrical Technician, you will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure quality and reliability in every product we build. You’ll play a critical role in supporting both prototype development and full-scale production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble and solder through-hole and surface-mount components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Assemble and solder wiring harnesses
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies at the component level
  • Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and written instructions
  • Document testing results and repairs accurately
  • Assist engineers during product prototyping, validation, and design changes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols
  • Support quality assurance by identifying and reporting assembly or design issues
