JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, and field service. This role requires proficiency in various technical skills, including hydraulics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and high voltage systems. The Senior Electrical Technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical equipment while providing exceptional customer service.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery, vision inspection systems, and Calypso measurement technology is preferred.
  • Experience working with military standards or environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical circuits, sensors, and distributed control systems.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and calibration tools to ensure equipment operates within specifications.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical components and systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements in manufacturing processes using AutoCAD for design modifications.
  • Provide field service support for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations while working with both low voltage and high voltage systems.
