JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling complex electro-mechanical systems, with a strong background in soldering, PCB assembly, and working with robotics and automation equipment. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation to build and test high-performance systems used in industrial, automation, or robotics applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly, with a focus on soldering and PCB work
  • Experience working with robotics systems, automation equipment, or motion control technologies
  • Proficient with hand tools, soldering irons, crimpers, multimeters, and ESD-safe assembly practices
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and quality workmanship
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment

PREFERRED SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED):

  • IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 soldering certification
  • Experience with PLCs, servo motors, or industrial control systems
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S workplace principles
Responsibilities
  • Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Perform precision through-hole and surface-mount soldering of electronic components on PCBs following IPC standards
  • Install and route wiring, connectors, harnesses, and other electrical components in enclosures and mechanical frames
  • Integrate and align robotic or automation subsystems, including actuators, sensors, motors, and control boards
  • Conduct functional tests on assemblies using test equipment and verify performance against specifications
  • Troubleshoot and rework non-conforming assemblies or components as needed
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve design or assembly issues
  • Maintain documentation of build processes, deviations, and quality checks
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and ESD procedures in the work area
