Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Technician to provide test expertise to the Operations team in our Holmdel, NJ location.  The successful candidate will perform a variety of semi-routine and complex tasks to ensure production quality standards and goals are met.  Responsibilities include performing the assembly, set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of RF circuits, components, instruments, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Other duties include performing various test set-ups, Product licensing, executing tests, recognizing failures, troubleshooting failures, operating test equipment which includes signal generators, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, network analyzers and RF probes in addition to other equipment, and recording test issues either recurrent or unfamiliar and providing recommendations for test and/or procedural changes.   About Spirent Communications Spirent is the leading global provider of automated test and assurance solutions for communications networks, cybersecurity, and positioning.   We provide innovative products, services, and managed solutions that address the test, assurance, and automation challenges of a new generation of technologies, including 5G, cloud, autonomous vehicles, and beyond. Qualifications * Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics; or equivalent * Minimum of 4 years of related experience. * Familiarity with RF test equipment, including signal generators, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, network analyzers, and RF probes. * Familiarity with electronic assembly tools. * Soldering and assembly skills. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Access & Outlook. * Excellent Computer skills a must. * Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.           Pay Transparency: Annualized Salary Wage Range: $71,000 - $91,000 Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
