JOB OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven marketer to own and scale our automated email programs across transactional, behavioral, and lifecycle touchpoints. This role is central to delivering automated revenue growth by mapping and optimizing the customer journey through timely, relevant, and high-performing flows. This role requires someone who is just as comfortable strategizing flows across the customer lifecycle as they are setting them up, testing, and analyzing performance hands-on.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in automated email generation & management
  • Proven track record of revenue growth marketing communications
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, segmentation, and behavioral triggers
  • Hands-on experience in Klaviyo, Braze, Mailchimp, or equivalent platform
  • Proficient in A/B testing, reporting, and using performance data to make decisions
  • Balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong retail or consumer marketing strategy and execution skills.
  • Excellent judgment in setting and prioritizing goals.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email customization is preferred
  • Experience in fashion, bridal, or seasonal retail industries is preferred

Responsibilities

Own automated email strategy to execution

  • Lead the strategy, planning, build, monitoring, reporting and optimization of all Azazie automated communications across transactional, behavioral and lifecycle communications.
  • Implement multi-channel automations using email, SMS and push notifications
  • Map customer journeys and develop flow logic based on behaviors, segments, and lifecycle stage
  • Continuously test and optimize all flows to improve performance
  • Continually challenge the current status quo and accelerate growth through smart decision making & an agile & hands on mentality.

Drive Revenue & Performance

  • Own flow-level KPIs including revenue contribution, conversion rate, and engagement
  • Build a testing roadmap to iterate on key flows for maximum impact
  • Deliver weekly/monthly reporting and insights to stakeholders with actions
  • Identify gaps and plan new flows to drive incremental revenue
  • Set-up and deploy complex automated communications
  • Work collaboratively with the data engineering and product team to drive best-in-class global customer engagement strategies.

Hands-On Execution

  • Use tools like Klaviyo (preferred), Mailchimp, Braze, Attentive, or similar to build, QA, and launch flows
  • Work closely with creative, analytics, and product teams to align content, offers, and logic
  • Maintain documentation for all flows and ensure seamless operations
