About the Assignment This assignment is within the automotive industry, focused on software platform development for advanced vehicle functions such as driver experience, active safety, and other differentiating features. You will join a highly empowered agile team working across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture to deployment and automated testing, in a high-performance embedded environment. Job Description Develop, maintain, and improve framework functionality and tools for the software platform. Deliver platform features and performance optimizations using modern C++ and Python. Collaborate across teams to create value in a high-performance embedded software and electronics platform. Refine features and user stories, and contribute to architectural design. Occasionally facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Perform fault tracing and debugging on emulators, hardware, and vehicle environments together with cross-functional teams. Use AI to accelerate functionality and test development in a complex, large-scale codebase. Contribute across the full delivery chain, from requirements and software architecture to deployment and automated testing. Requirements Proficiency in C++ development for embedded systems using modern C++. Some Python knowledge. Strong embedded Linux development and debugging skills. Experience with requirement analysis and test development using common unit testing frameworks. Experience working with build systems, continuous integration, and code reviews. Experience working in agile development teams. Master of Science or similar within a relevant engineering domain. Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English. Nice to have Knowledge of safety- and security-critical software development and coding guidelines relevant to the automotive industry. Experience developing embedded software frameworks, including API design. Knowledge of C and Python best practices. Automotive experience, including standards such as ASPICE.
