Description

ABOUT US

Sensio is the leading provider of care technology in the Nordics, solving today’s and tomorrow’s care challenges for the benefit of service recipients, healthcare professionals, and society. We create sensors, systems, and platforms that radically improve the quality and efficiency of health care – leading the sector to embrace technology and provide #MoreTimeForCare.
We are on an exciting journey from being the leading tech company in Scandinavia in the elderly care space to becoming a trusted transformation partner across Europe. With the backing of Nordic Capital, one of Europe’s top private equity firms, we’re ready to take our flagship product, RoomMate, to the world.
RoomMate is a revolutionary safety sensor that detects and reduces falls using advanced algorithms. In addition, the sensor can be used for digital supervision and passive notification in case of dangerous situations. Both hardware and software are developed in-house by the RoomMate team.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer who is product-driven, takes ownership, thinks big, and makes a real impact. You’ll be at the core of our product development, working on embedded software that powers the RoomMate sensor. In addition, you’ll have the freedom to take lead and drive innovation forward.
The working location is RoomMate’s offices at Hamangskogen 60, Sandvika, with the option of occasionally working from Sensio’s main office in central Oslo.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Developing embedded software in C++.
  • Collaborating with a world-class team of engineers, designers, and product managers to define and shape RoomMate’s evolution.
  • Mentoring and supporting others, by fostering an environment of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning within the team.
  • Taking ownership of complex problems, driving solutions with autonomy.
  • Contributing to product discovery, ensuring we build the right solutions for real-world healthcare challenges.
