This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a pioneering team developing next-generation wearable technology. In this role, you will design and implement low-level software for custom embedded systems, contributing directly to the creation of ultra-low-power communication, sensing, and computation solutions. You will collaborate with hardware engineers, IC designers, and computer vision experts to build firmware that powers complex wearable devices. Accountabilities: · Develop and maintain embedded firmware for wearable devices, from bootloaders to device drivers and operating systems. · Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of embedded systems. · Optimize firmware for ultra-low-power operation across ARM MCUs and custom hardware platforms. · Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols, including I2C, SPI, BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB. · Conduct low-level debugging and testing, leveraging tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers. · Participate in the design and setup of custom toolchains and build environments for embedded projects. · BS in Electronics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
