REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, with at least 2 years focused on hardware/software development in the truck or car industry, particularly within the domain of thermal management.
  • Proficient in quality tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, PDCA).
  • Demonstrated expertise in thermal management systems for battery electric vehicles.
  • Knowledge and experience in requirement management processes, from specification to validation.
  • Proficiency in tools such as VISION, MATLAB, and VECTOR.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware/software integration, including CAN and LIN communication protocols, as well as ECU calibration and parameterization.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and integrating hardware and software components within thermal management systems.
  • Proven track record in Class 8 truck battery vehicle thermal management systems.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and industrial systems.
  • Proficiency in program management tools, including risk analysis, planning, and status reporting.
  • Experience in agile methodologies, such as SCRUM and KANBAN, is highly desirable.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Secure that the VTNA and MACK thermal management software is developed in line with local market and legal demands;
  • Secure that the local demands for North America and Australia will be contemplated by the development center in Gothenburg, Sweden;
  • Participate in relevant concept selections, investigations and Demos providing prototype SW/HW for it;
  • Participate and contribute in retrospective meetings, sprint reviews, etc;
  • Lead cross functional activities towards completion being responsible for the timeplan, milestones, cost and quality tools.
  • Document North, Latin America and Australian market needs in Thermal management.
  • Calibrate, troubleshoot and test Thermal Management systems.
  • Provide calibration parameters into the main Software.
  • Support the field test team and Integration team by providing knowledge, information and all the necessary means for the testing activities.
