The Applied Innovation Exchange is seeking a talented individual who possesses infinite curiosity to work with our UK team in our innovation exchange in the heart of London. You’ll be part of a small team of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors, who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs.
You will thrive in obscurity and empowered environments, taking ownership of challenges and working in collaboration with our clients and multidiscipline team to turn problem statements into innovative, impactful, in-market solutions.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• An expert in Full-Stack JavaScript/Typescript, with experience across any of the modern core frameworks from frontend through to API/service development.
• An end-to-end engineer, comfortable and experienced designing and deploying to cloud environments (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS + CI/CD)
• Someone who takes pride in their craft and centres technical decisions around user needs.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage with and understand stakeholders, working with them to create impactful solutions.
• A bias for action, understanding core engineering principles and able to pick up new technologies on-the-fly during projects.

Engage as a technical expert during innovation discovery engagements - working with innovation consultants, UX/UI designers and fellow engineers to contribute inspiration and advisory on emerging technologies to help shape opportunities and solutions. Take up the role of a technical lead on innovation projects - working with our team, wider Capgemini experts and our clients to deliver high quality innovative solutions from proof of value to pilot.
