QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Aerospace experience is preferred

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Conduct EMC/EMI analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for aerospace systems and components to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement EMC/EMI control plans and test procedures to mitigate electromagnetic interference risks effectively.
  • Perform EMC/EMI testing in accordance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461, DO-160) to validate electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate EMC/EMI considerations into product designs, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Evaluate and recommend materials, components, and design modifications to improve EMC/EMI performance based on analysis and testing results.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations on EMC/EMI analysis and test results for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and best practices in EMC/EMI engineering to maintain compliance and enhance capabilities.
  • Assist in the development of EMC/EMI training programs for engineering teams to promote awareness and understanding.
  • Support regulatory compliance activities and participate in audits and reviews as needed to ensure adherence to applicable standards and requirements.
