Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Energy Manager to lead an experienced and busy team delivering energy audits and building retrofit programmes and to mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of energy systems, regulations, and technologies, including ISO50001 and SEAI compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead the delivery of comprehensive energy audits for non-domestic buildings including leisure centres and the public sector estate, and in manufacturing and hospitality sectors.
  • Lead project teams, planning the resource requirements, budgets and timelines for energy audit, grant submission and retrofit programmes
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of Property and Portfolio level Registers of Opportunities to optimise energy performance.
  • In collaboration with internal and external experts design, analyse, and manage the delivery of retrofit projects including cost-benefit and business case assessments.
  • Support customers with the implementation of ISO50001 and associated energy management practices and reporting.
  • Collaborate with client Energy Management Teams to drive carbon reduction initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor junior auditors and energy officers and support their professional development.
  • Contribute to internal training, industry knowledge-sharing, and team development.
  • Lead initiatives that will establish or maintain quality objectives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
