PSE’s Generation & Natural Gas Storage team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Senior Energy Resource Group Analyst position!

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Energy Resource Group Analyst works directly with Puget Sound Energy’s Generation team to support facilities that produce and store energy through a variety of sources including, but not limited to, wind, hydro, solar, thermal, natural gas storage, and battery technology. This role is responsible for analyzing asset performance data, developing tracking functions, generating financial forecasts, and developing insights and making recommendations for improved reporting tools and processes. Additionally, this role is tasked with preparing periodic update reports, graphs, and presentations to support financial, compliance, budgetary, and/or resource leveling. This role develops, streamlines, and maintains maintenance planning/tracking systems for respective responsibility area, as well as represents the Energy Resource Group (ERG) and articulates the status of pending projects/processes to officer group. Finally, this role is responsible for assessing current practices and develops new tools and processes with a good understanding of the business, accounting, compliance, and/or asset maintenance implications of all issues, as well as conducting financial, statistical, engineering, and/or economic studies related to the planning function and information needs of the department.
The individual in this role will be responsivle for traveling between the following locations: Longview, Goldendale, and occasionaly Fredrickson. As this individual is going through training, they will be expected to be on-site at these locations on a regular basis. Following the completion of the training period, this individual will be eligible for hybrid work, with a bulk of the on-site time being at the above locations to support PSE’s busy season.
