Our shared purpose is to create and offer evidence-informed professional learning programs, events and initiatives designed to take Victoria’s highly skilled teachers and school leaders from great to exceptional and advance the quality and status of teaching and school leadership.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Engagement and Programs Officer leads the localised stakeholder engagement for the Academy across the Academy’s seven Regional Centres (Bairnsdale, Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, Geelong, Mildura, Moe and Shepparton). This includes engagement with key system leaders, schools, and networks to plan, deliver, and evaluate the impact of professional learning aligned to the needs of the area.
The Senior Engagement and Programs Officer will have a strong understanding of the professional learning offered by the Academy and plays a leadership role within the Division, working with internal Academy and local external DE, Catholic, and Independent school teams to plan, design, procure, deliver, and evaluate professional learning to meet local needs.
This position is based in the Geelong regional centre and supports on site delivery of professional learning. There may be some periodic travel to the Academy’s centres in Melbourne.
While flexible work options may be considered, on-site attendance is required when professional learning is delivered. Accordingly, the full range of flexible arrangements may not be available. Work outside of the VPS ordinary span of hours will be required when the centre is booked for events.
