As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Senior Engineer Airframe Design to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an agile and dynamic environment, collaborate with international clients, and contribute directly to the development of next-generation aircraft configuration software.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Recognised Expert in field of airframe design;
At least 5 years professional expertise in relevant fields of aircraft development and airframe design;
Wide proficiency of airframe certification requirements, design criteria, materials, methods and tools;
New aircraft development experience (CS25);
Ability to prioritize, manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks;
Product development experience of several aircraft programs;
Lead and instruct complex tasks internal/external;
Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken, C1 level or higher).

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Knowledge of Catia V5;
Knowledge of PLM 3D-Experience;
Knowledge of MS Office.
Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Materials Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer Airframe Design at PACE, you will need to:
Deal with complex tasks internally and externally; defining specific actions and Means of Compliance;
Integrate tasks of complex airframe structural elements;
Plan of the required activities and the required competences and capabilities according to defined deliverables;
Work as Team member within an airframe work package to ensure deliverables;
Ensure structural integrity by optimized weight and performance of the airframe component. Propose optimizations for both weight improvement and design to cost;
Establish the required check procedures and progress monitoring aligned with the program process to ensure deliverables at time and quality;
Define and drive opportunities for digitalization and automatization of airframe design analysis processes, methods & tools.
